CHASE THE WIND Written by Linda Gridley Reviewed by Anne Rollins Chase the Wind is Linda Gridley's first published poem. The poem traces the steps of Gridley's childhood, and reflects on each defining moment along the way. From growing up poor in a loving farmhouse, to leaving home to chase true love, Gridley fondly, and at times, sadly, recalls the emotions she felt as each new stage of youth and life pulled her further from her roots, into both un-settledness and adventure. Chase the Wind will be featured in the upcoming issue of the American Writer's Poetry Digest. |
WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE? Written by Hilary Van Lindt Reviewed by Dina Strome As the follow-up to her popular poem "Yesterday's Memories", Hilary Van Lindt returns to her long-forgotten past to re-capture the once-special moments along the way, and hold them still to be seen from a closer viewpoint, un-touched by time, until she can no longer keep them from passing. More than nostalgia, this is an effort to hold-on tighter to life's precious moments, as time works to free them from her grasp. Where Has The Time Gone? will be featured in the upcoming issue of the Cambridge-Hall Poetry Journal. |

The Darkness of Night remains unpublished at this time, as the author works to secure a publishing deal for a series of poems about freedom. |
SABRINA Written by Patrick Dubonne Reviewed by Tomas Grandstrom Sabrina is, above all other things, a love poem. The author's emotions are explored lovingly in each verse, taking us through the bond that is tested, the passion that eventually fades, and the love that endures both pain and the changes brought with time. A beautiful poem written for and about the only true love that the author has ever known, it ultimately serves a reminder to all of us that love can endure and triumph, even in the darkest of times. Sabrina has been published in several poetry collections. |
